SWEDEN INDIA INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP

AI has potential to help solve some of the world’s most pressing social challenges. From ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare and empowering citizens through optimized mobility services to improve public safety via image recognition and facilitate education and skilling, a 2018 McKinsey study suggests that existing AI capabilities could contribute to tackling cases across all 17 of the UN’s sustainable-development goals, potentially helping hundreds of millions of people in both advanced and emerging countries. Given its high potency, AI is high on the agenda for governments around the world, with Sweden and India being leading examples.

In line with the Innovation Partnership between Sweden and India, ‘AI for All’ gathers government decision makers, academic experts and leading industry executives from both countries to explore applications for artificial intelligence. AI for All also aims to enable exchange of best practice, provide a forum for increased ecosystem collaboration and curation of potential end user cases.

In particular, the conference will have focused thematic session to initiate new industry collaborations and joint research projects, on areas such as: Transportation, Healthcare, Public safety and Industry 4.0. The conference also aims to create a forum for increased ecosystem collaboration and initiation of joint market-oriented R&D projects in line with available funding instruments.
