BREAKFAST MEETING: LIFE SCIENCE AND HEALTHCARE

Team Sweden (Embassy, Mumbai Consulate General, the Chamber, Business Sweden and Swecare) welcomes companies within the Healthcare, Life Sciences and MedTech sector to a breakfast meeting from 09.00 – 11.00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, in the presence of Ambassador Klas Molin.

In the recent visit of PM Modi to Stockholm, a “Sweden-India Joint Action Plan” was signed under which both the PMs emphasized to further promote bilateral cooperation and encourage trade and facilitate investments in both directions. One of the key focus areas within this is Healthcare and Lifesciences. We hope to see enhanced collaboration in health research, pharmacovigilance, anti-microbial resistance amongst others within the existing bilateral MoU that completes ten years in 2019.

At the meeting, we will provide an update of the cooperation, share the results from the latest Business Climate Survey, deliberate upon the key barriers to trade and also discuss the way forward.
