Thursday, 20th October 2016 16.00 hrs - 18.00 hrs

In the current VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) world, cost pressures constantly challenge business models and their sustainability. This is expected to get even more accentuated with growing interest of global companies in India, given the new opportunities emanating from the government’s “Make in India” campaign. The ability of organizations to perpetually focus on cost competitiveness, using contemporary and advanced cost management practices & tools, is the natural way forward in its pursuit of sustainable growth.

The Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) “Total Cost Management Division” was established with an objective to enhance cost competitiveness in the Indian industry and has service verticals to work with both MSME and large corporate sectors to deploy cost management tools, techniques and best practices The division also has conceptualized ‘TCM Maturity Model’ which assesses companies on a 5-level cost maturity hierarchy. The model is the first of its kind in the world and CII has obtained Intellectual Property Rights towards it. The objective is to sensitize and enhance awareness on ‘cost management’ and its efficacy in businesses in the context of stressed economy and corporate performance.

Adoption of the ‘TCM framework’ in businesses can accelerate ‘cost competitiveness’ and impact sustainable growth and profitability.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce India in collaboration with CII invites you to this special program with the aim of providing a holistic framework to control, reduce and eliminate costs for your organization.
