Light Up a Life

Petra Spencer, a Swedish national, living in Bangalore along with her family supports Vidyaranya, an NGO working dedicatedly to rehabilitate sex trafficked victims by providing a functioning support system.

Vidyaranya is running an ‘Ujjawala Shelter’, in line with the scheme by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India provide women specialized care and assistance related to their health, security and safety to enable them to restore their dignity and integrate back into society. This project also has Indpro, a Swedish IT firm’s support.
