In the light of increasing political uncertainty in Europe, the recent elections in Sweden and the upcoming EU Parliament elections, we invite you to a conversation between senior Swedish Political Editor-in-Chief, Tove Lifvendahl, and JNU Professor Salma Bawa.
Sweden faced a political impasse after elections in September, the government formation lasting more than four months. At the same time, Brexit, coming leadership changes in Germany and political unrest in France are contributing to already existing worries about the EU’s future stability and what composition the European Parliament will have after EU elections in May.
Tove Lifvendahl is Political Editor-in-Chief at Svenska Dagbladet, one of Sweden’s largest daily newspapers.
