ONE GLOBE CONFERENCE 2016

One Globe is India’s premier annual conference focusing on contemporary issues and ideas to transform the country into a 21st century knowledge economy and since 2012 has brought 250 global thought leaders to New Delhi each year to debate, discuss, and share global and local perspectives on important issues influencing India and South Asia’s development. One Globe's fast paced, content-rich conference includes keynotes, panel discussions and spotlight sessions covering a range of topics across themes like Digital India, Make in India, Smart Cities, and Entrepreneurship, and their impact on higher education, skills, innovation, science and technology.

This year the One Globe: Uniting Knowledge Communities Conference , is introducing awards to honor individuals as well as domestic and international companies for their contributions in building a 21st century knowledge economy through their initiatives in digital economy, R&D, smart cities, entrepreneurship and social impact. The awards will evaluate activities undertaken in India in the last two years (1 October 2013-30 September 2015), and can also be part of a longer-term strategy.
