R&I CLUB ! INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION TO FOSTER INNOVATION AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

In partnership with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce India, the Office of Science and Innovation, based at the Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi has established an R&I club for Swedish companies based in India who are interested in research and innovation collaboration with Indian stakeholders.

Intellectual property protection is critical for fostering innovation and business development. Without protection of ideas, businesses and individuals cannot reap the full benefits of their inventions, leading to fewer investments in research and development. In line with the Sweden-India Innovation Partnership, Team Sweden together with the Swedish Intellectual Property Office and Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade are organizing a webinar on IP in the context of India for Swedish companies.
