#SAMBANDH FIKA: WHAT'S COOKING IN THE INDIAN ECONOMY?

Thursday, 20th February 2020 15.00 hrs - 17.00 hrs
SCCI Office, New Delhi

A Sambandh FIKA event is a meeting place for people working with, or in connection with the Swedish companies in India. ‘Sambandh’ means relationship, collaboration both in Hindi and Swedish. ‘Fika’ is time when good friends get together for a great conversation over coffee and cake.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released her second Union Budget on Feb 1, this at a time when the Indian economy seems to be on a downward trajectory and IMF writing down the growth expectations for the year.

Banks and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) are part of the backbone of any economy but are now struggling. How does this play out in the current scenario? How are companies impacted, and how is the investment and business landscape developing?

In partnership with our member SEB, we have put together an interesting panel comprising of senior leaders from the Swedish business community, rating agencies, and think-tanks, to reflect and discuss on the drivers, hurdles and priorities ahead. The panel is moderated by Martin Carlens - Senior Economist SEB, analyzing country risk in India and other emerging market economies.

Bring your colleagues and join us for this interesting conversation, topped with traditional Swedish Semlor (buns with almondmix and whipped cream).
