The opportunities of our time are many; do a 3D scan of your body, choose your material and details and then you have your customized denim in the mail a couple of weeks later… fabrics of plastic from the ocean, orange peel and other unexpected material… the next generation apparel created from this generation’s waste… return and recycle.

The challenges of our time are enormous; by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Scientists warn that If we don’t reduce emissions now it is too late in just a few years. The Government of India reports that 72 percent of the country’s garbage remains untreated and if we don’t deal with this, India will need a landfill the size of Bangalore by 2030.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce India in collaboration with H&M Foundation invites you to an evening with Walden Lam from Unspun - early bird winner of the Foundation’s Global Change Awards 2017, Avnish Sabharwal, MD Accenture Ventures – providers of a comprehensive innovations ecosystem and Sonia Manchanda, Founder of Spread, a unique design focused company, to explore the possibilities of creative minds, the challenges at hand and how sustainability can be the foundation of your business model.

This is an open event, and serves as the Chamber and Business Sweden’s monthly mingle so all are welcome - bring your friends and colleagues along!
