He joined IKEA in 2001 because of its vision, culture, and values, which are the driving forces behind his passion for growth at IKEA. During his time in IKEA, Juvencio has had extensive in depth store experience, which he believes is the best platform to understand the core of the IKEA business. It also empowered Juvencio with a great understanding of Life at Home for customers and how to make the IKEA Culture a living reality. He has the experience in driving business growth in existing stores as well as spearheading expansion in new markets. Juvencio has had diversified experience in managing stores and business expansion responsibilities in Spain, Portugal, and United Kingdom. Both people and business growth are high on Juvencio’s agenda, as he takes on the challenge of expanding and leading IKEA’s growth in India.

Parag Satpute is the Country Manager, India at Sandvik Asia, the Indian subsidiary of Sandvik – a global industrial group with world-leading specialized advanced engineering products and services. Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas – tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems. In 2012 the Group had about 49,000 employees and representation in 130 countries, and widely known for its innovation and pioneering technology in each area of operation. Parag has held several leadership positions within Sandvik Materials Technology* including Head of product area Wire and Heating Technology, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for product area Strip within EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), as well as Global Sales and Marketing Manager for Die Cutting. His past positions also include General Manager for Sandvik Saxon. Prior to this he held a number of positions within Sandvik Asia. Parag Satpute holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the Pune University.

Kamal Bali is the Managing Director of the Volvo Group in India. With a career spanning three decades, predominantly in the Automotive (tractors) and the CE industry, Kamal has worked for well-known Indian brands and also established and developed multinational corporations in India. He has had a broad experience in the functional areas of sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and exercised significant P&L responsibilities. An engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kamal began his professional career with Eicher Group in 1981. Later, he headed the Sales function for Escorts’ Tractors & Claas Harvestors nationally, followed by the position of CEO & Managing Director for Same Deutz -Fahr Group in India, and Escorts Construction Equipment. Prior to joining Volvo India, Kamal was working as the President & CEO of LeeBoy India Construction Equipment Private Limited. Kamal is based in Bangalore and reports at the Volvo Group level in Goteburg to Niklas Gustavsson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Volvo India.

Paolo Colella is the Head of Region India at Ericsson and part of Ericsson’s Global Leadership Team. With over 25 years experience in IT and Telecommunications in 5 different countries, Paolo is responsible for extending Ericsson’s footprint in the India region and supporting business partners in a rapidly transforming telecom market. In his previous role, from 2009 to 2015, Paolo was the Global Head of the Consulting and Systems Integration for Ericsson, driving a fast growing professional services business for the company, based out of Sweden. Prior to this responsibility, Paolo served as head of Sales and Marketing in the UK, overseeing Ericsson’s business towards all Telco and non-Telco customers in the UK. Stefan Palskog is the President of Scania CV India and Industrial Operations, headquartered in Bangalore. With a total stint of over three decades in Scania alone, he has held various positions as Managing Director - DynaMate AB, Managing Director - Scania Netherland BV, Logistic Director - Scania Netherland BV. Stefan graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Malardalen University, Sweden. He has also undergone Leadership based Management Education and Training at Institute of Management IFL and Royal Institute of Technology. Prior to his assignment in India, Stefan was holding the position of Regional Manager at Scania Bilar, Stockholm. He is an avid golf player, enjoys travelling, good food and gardening is his hobby.

PKSV Sagar is currently the Managing Director for Camfil Air Filtration India PTE. Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of Camfil AB, Sweden. Mr. Sagar had been heading Camfil first as its COO from April 2008 till he was drafted into the Board as the Managing Director in August 2011. Prior to this assignment, he was the Vice President for an Anand Group company, handling Operations of a Automotive component business for a South Korean JV along with one of the the filter businesses of the group. Prior to the Anand assignment he spent 13 years in the Compressor industry starting with Ingersoll Rand and then with Elgi Equipments Limited; during which he gained invaluable experience in Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing.With a 28 years experience across all functions in Industry, Sagar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi along with a Management Degree in Marketing from Indian Institute of Management (IIM,Kolkata).He also has added qualifications in the form of Advanced Management Program(AMP) from Oxford University, UK. A sports enthusiast, he keeps himself active playing Tennis and Badminton. He loves travelling, watching movies and is a keen Cricket buff.

Sanjeev Sharma

Sanjeev Sharma is the Country Managing Director of ABB India Ltd., a part of ABB Group - one of the world’s leading engineering companies that helps its customers produce and use electrical power efficiently, to increase industrial productivity and to lower environmental impact in a sustainable way.

Group recorded revenue of US$ 35 billion in 2015 and has 1,35,000 employees. India is the seventh largest contributor to ABB group revenue and has around 9,000 employees.

Sanjeev has spent close to 30 years at ABB, having worked in different roles including business operations, sales and marketing, strategy and product management across Europe, South East Asia and India.

Prior to this appointment, Sanjeev was the global Managing Director for ABB’s Low Voltage Systems business unit, where he was based in Malaysia. He brings extensive experience in industrial automation and electrification across market segments and geographies and has led several successful change management initiatives across global operations.

Sanjeev is an electrical and telecommunications engineer and with various management degrees. His personal interests range from shaping young minds through mentoring to mountain climbing.

Kandarp Singh is the Managing Director of Tetra Pak South Asia Markets, headquartered in Gurgaon, India and also covering Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. Kandarp has spent close to 20 years in the Tetra Pak organization, in senior international positions in Dubai-UAE (Marketing & Sales Director), Lausanne-Switzerland (Global Director – Customer Satisfaction Program), Modena-Italy (Vice President – Product Strategy & Planning) and Malmo-Sweden (Managing Director – Tetra ReCart). Kandarp is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a post-graduate in Business from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Prior to joining Tetra Pak, Kandarp worked with organizations such as HCL, Wipro, Procter & Gamble and HSBC in sales and marketing positions. Kandarp is also an active guest speaker in educational institutions and business groups speaking on a wide range of issues such as leadership, sales, marketing, business strategy and sustainability. Kandarp lives in Gurgaon, India and has a keen interest in music, theatre, tennis, golf and cycling.

Mr. Harald Sandberg is the Ambassador of Sweden to India since July 2012. Ambassador Sandberg comes to India with a vast experience in the Asian region –having served as Ambassador to South Korea (2003-2005) and Indonesia (1998-2003). Before assuming office as the Head of Mission at The Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi, he was Ambassador, Head of Department for Human Resources at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm. Ambassador Sandberg has held various offices in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including Deputy Director General and Head of Department for Promotion of Sweden and Swedish Trade, Director- Deputy Head of Department for International Trade, Director- Deputy Head of the Swedish Cabinet Office’s EU Co-ordination Secretariat and Director of the Private Office of the Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade. A career diplomat, Ambassador Sandberg began his service with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after being accepted to the Swedish Diplomatic Training Program in 1977. Mr. Sandberg has also been posted as a First Secretary in the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C., in the Swedish U.N. delegation in Geneva and as Second Secretary at the Swedish Embassy in Seoul. Born in Uppsala, he went to the Military Academy in Linköping before graduating from the University of Uppsala with a major in history. Ambassador Sandberg likes to read novels on history and has published articles on theories of history. He enjoys travel, downhill skiing, hiking in the Nordic mountains and is the former chairman of the Swedish Foreign Ministry’s motorcycle club. Ambassador Sandberg is married to Else Albrektsson Sandberg. They have three adult children living in HongKong, Switzerland and the U.S.A.

Ms Josa Kärre, Counsellor, Head of Section for Trade Economic and Cultural Affairs, Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi has worked in the Swedish Foreign Service since 1999, mainly in the MENA region. Before being posted to New Delhi in 2015, she spent 4 years at the MENA Dept, MFA, as Deputy Director, coordinating trade and promotion activities across the Middle East and North Africa. She has also handled Gulf Affairs at the MENA Dept, MFA and served in Embassies of Sweden in Turkey and the UAE.

Honorary Board Member - Ulrika Sundberg

Ambassador Ulrika Sundberg is the Consul General of Sweden in Mumbai, India since September 2016 and is currently also Sweden’s Special representative to the French Initiative on the Middle East Peace Process. She served as Ambassador to Ireland, to Belgium and to Pakistan between 2009 -2016. She was Ambassador and senior political adviser to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe 2008-2009 and Head of the Swedish diplomatic mission in Khartoum, Sudan 2006 -2008. Previous postings include Deputy Head of mission at the Swedish Delegation to the United Nations and International Organizations in Geneva 2000-2006 and exchange diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France 1999. She worked with UN-issues at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs 1996-1999. She served as Consul and Legal Advisor at the Swedish Consulate General in New York 1993-1996, at the Permanent Mission to the UN in New York 1992-93 and at Swedish Embassy in Lima/La Paz, Peru/Bolivia 1990-92. She holds a master in law (LL.M) and specialized in international law and conflict of laws at University of Stockholm. She is Vice President of the Siracuse Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights since 2015.

Her Past Directorships include Industrial Development Bank of India Ltd. as Nominee of Finance Ministry, Bank of Maharashtra as a Director and Neilsoft Ltd. as a Director. She is a recipient of many awards both National and International including the prestigious Padmashree, in 1989, by the Indian Government, which was received at the hands of the then President of India, Dr. Venkatraman and recipient of International recognition from the King of Sweden in 2003, with the Polar Star Award and named as the Officer of the Royal Order.
