More than 70 of our friends and partners joined us for our 15th Annual General Meeting, held at the Embassy of Sweden in Delhi on September 21, and many more participated virtually as well. Amongst them were many of the Chamber’s 26 founding members and also Cecilia Oskarsson, Trade Commissioner of Sweden to India and head of Business Sweden, India, who played a pivotal role in establishing the Chamber in 2008.
Mr. Rajendra Ratnoo, Executive Director at the National Institute of Disaster Management, and Ms. Nivruti Rai, MD and CEO of Invest India, were our special guests for the evening and shared their insights into Swedish companies' presence and impact on India and areas for further collaboration.
To mark the celebration of this special milestone, the Chamber launched a unique peer-to-peer recognition initiative with all our member companies across India, called The Pivoters. A chance to recognize colleagues who go over and above and beyond, inspiring, supporting, and serving others. This first time, we had the joy of felicitating 40 Pivoters from many different companies.
We know there are many more out there, so the Pivoters will keep rolling!
The Chamber team wishes to thank all member companies for the partnership and look forward to continuing to build a sustainable and meaningful future. Together, we pioneer new frontiers in societal, environmental, and business areas and continue to build #Sambandh between our two countries.
